Enjoy a peaceful walk along the Obi Obi or share a bottle of wine at the falls. The Tamarind has direct access to the Gardner’s Falls with a path situated in the rainforest in front of the bungalows. You can venture into Maleny or Montville to visit art galleries, craft shops and cafes, and there are also a range of bushwalking and picnic areas. Please ask at reception for a copy of these maps and tourist guides. We have a set of boules at reception for a relaxing game on the lawns of The Tamarind. Go sailing on Baroon Pocket Dam. There are catamarans available for hire and it is also a great spot for a picnic or BBQ.

		Fancy a game of golf? Beerwah Golf course is only 20 minutes drive from The Tamarind. There is also a driving range at Mooloolah which is also a 20 minute drive. The Eumundi Markets operate on Wednesday and Saturday until 2pm. Eumundi is a 50 minute drive from The Tamarind.
